We are all members of Chess Valley Barbershop Singers - Knights of Harmony Chorus, based in Chesham, Bucks.
Between us we have many years experience of singing barbershop harmony and would love to share our love of this type of music with you for any special occasion you might be planning.

Mike
Abbott - Tenor Mike found the chorus when they were based in Hemel Hempstead and called "The Highwaymen". That was in 1993. He has had the opportunity to share his love of singing in many other countries by joining Barbershop Harmony events from as far afield as the USA to Australia and China. |

Henry
Bell - Baritone Henry was coaxed to join "The Buckaneers" in the '80s and despite his initial reticence was soon hooked. He has been in a few quartet line ups, several of them with Mike, and like him has travelled to various countries from Canada to Australia to enjoy singing with fellow barbershoppers. |

Derek
Russell - Bass Derek attended a Learn to Sing course run by The Knights a few years ago. He had experience of solo singing and had even used a local studio to produce a CD. However, he soon realised that the harmony in Barbershop, both in the songs and the fraternity was something he wanted to be part of. Enlisting him as the quartet bass was not difficult. |
Our repertoire of songs includes those from the middle to the end of the 20th Century and includes classics made famous by popular singers of that era plus West End show tunes.
We have sung for birthdays, social events organised by local groups and regularly invited to sing at the Duck Pond Farmers Market in Ruislip when available to do so.
